Otley Coffee Festival is back
The 2026 Otley Coffee Festival is taking place on Saturday 25th April at Otley Parish Church from 10am until 4pm.

The biannual event has become a significant addition to both the coffee-lovers’ and Otley calendars. It has become known as not just a great event for coffee tasting, but also an opportunity for conversation and browsing fantastic local creatives' stalls. We had to call the 2026 event Coffee, Creatives and Conversation for that reason.
Just half an hour from Harrogate, Leeds and Bradford centres, Otley is ideally placed for the festival.
The medieval church is transformed and provides a stunning, atmospheric backdrop for a day showcasing amazing Yorksire roasted coffee, local music and artisan producers, some returning for the third time.

The talks programme is a chance to take a deeper dive into some of the things we love about the Festival supporters and the local community in Otley; you will, we hope. come away challenged and inspired.
As well as coffee
We will have tea from Porter Hill Tea and cakes and food from Mistal Kitchen a delicious family run vegetarian cafe on Otley Chevin, who are our main sponsor this year.

We’re excited to be expanding our creatives exhibition again this year. We have several of our own brilliant Otley-based makers - Chilli Glass and Nina Wright Ceramics will complement the painting and prints of Print & Hues and Jeanne-Louise Art and the watercolours of Martha Taylor – whilst from slightly further afield we are thrilled that ChunkynFunky will be bringing their fun homewares, Downtown Drawings will be joining us with their ceramics and prints, and Crafts and Bubbles will showcase their soaps and natural cosmetics.
Otley Coffee Festival is a not-for-profit organisation. Once again, the main recipient of any surplus monies will be Farmers’ Voice Radio, who will have a stall to allow them to explain the important work they do helping farmers (including coffee farmers) in Africa. The Otley Oxfam shop and Otley 800 will also have a stall and will receive support from the festival.
Ian Agnew, from the Lorna Young Foundation, which runs Farmers’ Voice Radio, has been grateful for the support from the festival. It is, he said, “A great event, with a lovely, warm feel to it - very relaxed and friendly. The festival team did a fantastic job, and you had a brilliant team of volunteers.”

What is special about Otley Coffee Festival?
Otley has a long tradition of welcoming visitors, especially to the great events we stage every year. Otley Coffee Culture Festival sits in that tradition.
At the festival you can not only enjoy great coffee, tea and art and talk to the enthusiasts who make it, but have conversations with like- minded people about these things and the environment. You can drink, eat, chat, listen to talks and music, be entertained, inspired and challenged.
Putting fair trade and the environment at the centre
Within the coffee trade there is great opportunity to do good. The trade is a significant international activity. Responsible coffee businesses can promote fair shares for producers and can support appropriate measures to protect fragile ecosystems. At the Otley festival, we will be working with and showcasing businesses that use their economic muscle to promote good practice.
Celebrating coffee and the local economy
We want to use the festival to promote Otley and Otley businesses. We know, too, that there are great West Yorkshire businesses that ought to be involved. The day will ensure that we do this.
